BOLLYWOOD STAR GOVINDA INJURED IN ACCIDENTAL GUNSHOT, CONDITION NOW STABLE

Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda, 60, was rushed to Criticare Hospital in Juhu after accidentally shooting himself in the leg with his own licensed revolver early Tuesday morning. His condition is stable, as confirmed by police.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 4:45 a.m. when Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata. He was handling his gun at home when it discharged, causing the injury.
DETAILS OF THE INCIDENT
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, shared that the revolver slipped from Govinda's hand while he was placing it in its case, resulting in a bullet being fired into his leg.
Doctors at Criticare Hospital quickly removed the bullet, and while Govinda lost a significant amount of blood, his condition is now stable. He is expected to recover under continued medical supervision.
Mumbai Police have confirmed that they will be taking Govinda’s statement to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accidental shooting. His wife is also expected to provide her account of the event.
