Paras Health Gurugram Inaugurates Advanced Liver Transplant ICU Facility

Gurugram: Paras Health Gurugram has unveiled its state-of-the-art liver transplant ICU, dedicated to offering top-notch care and comfort for liver transplant patients. The facility boasts a 10-bed capacity, each bed fitted with cutting-edge medical technology and infrastructure to ensure the best patient outcomes. The ICU includes positive pressure rooms and HEPA filters, enhancing the care environment. The unit implements Reverse Barrier Nursing, providing patients with personalized attention and swift responses.

The newly launched transplant ICU was inaugurated on July 17 in the esteemed presence of Dr. Virender Yadav, Civil Surgeon/CMO, Gurugram and Dr. Anuj Garg, Deputy Civil Surgeon, Gurugram, who were the chief guests. Dr. Amit Rastogi, Chairman of Liver Transplant and GI Surgery was also present on the occasion. The newly launched transplant ICU is equipped with positive pressure rooms and HEPA filters to maintain a sterile environment, minimizing the risk of infection for patients with compromised immune systems. Each bed is specially designed to support the unique needs of transplant patients, ensuring maximum comfort and support during the recovery process. Sterility is meticulously maintained in all areas of the ICU to prevent infections and promote healing, including regular sanitation of all surfaces and equipment.
