Ramanagara Forest Employees Benefit from Free Health Camp by Aster RV Hospital
Bangalore: Aster RV Hospital took a meaningful step towards making healthcare accessible to remote communities by organizing a free multi-specialty health camp for the families of the Ramanagara Forest Department and its employees.
The camp was held in a forest area with little to no access to nearby hospital facilities, ensuring that those living in such regions could receive much-needed medical care.
More than 185 people attended the camp, where they received consultations, health check-ups, and medical guidance across a wide range of specialties. Services included Orthopedics, Dental, Pulmonology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Audiometry, ECG, and essential blood tests.
Speaking about the initiative, Parashuram, Deputy Manager at Aster RV and part of Aster Volunteers, said:
“Healthcare is a fundamental right, and we are committed to reaching communities that have limited access to medical services. This camp reflects our mission to provide quality healthcare to all, especially in remote areas.
By continuing such efforts, we aim to reduce disparities, promote inclusivity, and build healthier communities where timely and reliable medical care is available for everyone.”
The Forest Department welcomed the effort, pointing out that such health camps are vital in safeguarding the health of their employees and families, who dedicate their lives to conserving forests and wildlife.
For many participants, the camp proved to be a vital source of support. One of the beneficiaries shared:
“The health camp was a great help for me and my family. Hospitals are far from where we live, and reaching them is not easy. This camp allowed us to consult multiple doctors in one place, which made a big difference.
We are thankful to Aster RV Hospital for providing this opportunity.”
Through this initiative, Aster RV Hospital reaffirmed its focus on community well-being by extending quality medical care beyond city limits and directly into underserved regions.
The hospital plans to continue conducting such camps in rural and remote areas, ensuring that more communities can benefit from essential healthcare services at their doorstep.
