Adani Group's ₹6,000 Crore Healthcare Revolution: Building India's Largest Private Hospitals

Adani Group has announced a major healthcare investment, planning to build two 1,000-bed hospitals and medical colleges in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The ₹6,000 crore project will be executed under the Adani Health Cities initiative, aiming to revolutionize medical care and education in India.

The two integrated health campuses will be located in Kandivali, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This massive project is being developed in collaboration with Mayo Clinic, USA, a globally renowned medical institution. The investment will support cutting-edge facilities, medical research, and digital healthcare advancements.

The Kandivali campus is set to become Mumbai’s largest private hospital, surpassing Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (750 beds). The facility will includes 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospital, Medical college (150 undergraduates, 80+ residents, 40+ fellows), Advanced research and innovation center

The Ahmedabad campus will include a 1,000-bed hospital with state-of-the-art infrastructure, a medical college and research institute, transitional and step-down care facilities, and advanced digital healthcare solutions with AI-driven diagnostics.

Adani Group has teamed up with Mayo Clinic to bring global healthcare standards to India. Mayo Clinic will offer expert guidance on clinical operations, assist with technology integration, and implement best practices for quality patient care.

The Adani Health Cities will enhance India’s medical education by training future doctors and specialists, establishing a research hub for medical innovation, and improving complex disease treatment.

Adani Group plans to develop more integrated health campuses across India, ensuring world-class healthcare accessibility, affordable treatment, and the integration of cutting-edge research and technology.
