Thane: In a heartfelt tribute to courage and resilience, Jupiter Hospital, Thane celebrated Rose Day with a special event dedicated to cancer survivors. Organized by the Day care Oncology Team, the evening was a vibrant celebration of life, love, and gratitude, held at Hotel Fortune, Thane.
Themed “Celebrating the Fragrance of Life”, the event brought together survivors, doctors, caregivers, and well-wishers in an atmosphere filled with music, dance, and inspiring stories.
A major highlight was the Cancer Survivor Felicitation Ceremony, where survivors were honoured for their remarkable spirit and positivity in overcoming challenges.
A moving live performance by a cancer survivor added emotional depth to the evening, symbolizing strength and victory over adversity. The event also featured soulful orchestra performances and heartfelt patient testimonials that touched every heart.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr Chetna Bakshi, Consultant Clinical and Medical Oncologist, Jupiter Hospital, Thane, said,
