Dr Jaskaran Singh

 

Dr Jaskaran Singh (MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MCh (Neurosurgery)) is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Manipal Hospital, Patiala, with over 17 years of overall experience and more than 8 years in the field of neurosurgery. He completed his MBBS from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences and went on to pursue an MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala. He later obtained his MCh in Neurosurgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and completed a fellowship in Skull Base and Cerebrovascular Surgery at the same institute. His areas of clinical work include the management of head injuries, skull fractures, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, spinal fractures, spinal cord injuries, stroke, spinal disc problems, and other conditions causing nerve compression. He also treats brain and spinal tumors, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, Moyamoya disease, and performs endoscopic cranial surgeries such as those for pituitary and parasellar tumors. In addition, he manages pediatric neurosurgical conditions like meningomyelocele, hydrocephalus, and epilepsy-related surgeries.
