Dr Kumardev Arvind Rajamanya is the Head of Department (HOD) & Lead Consultant - Orthopaedics at Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bengaluru. His clinical areas of interest include general orthopaedics, complex trauma, minimally invasive fracture surgery, joint reconstruction and replacement (hip and knee), arthroscopy (shoulder and knee), and sports medicine. Dr Rajamanya completed his MBBS from Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, and his MS in Orthopaedics from JSS Medical College, Mysore. He has undergone specialized training in orthopaedics and trauma care at reputed institutions across India. He trained at Ganga Medical Centre, Coimbatore, focusing on a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, and completed the AO-SYNTHES Complex Trauma Fellowship at Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi. He has also received advanced fellowships in joint reconstruction and arthroscopy from Sunshine Hospital, Secunderabad. Dr Rajamanya has previously worked at Sagar Hospital, Bangalore, and gained further experience in joint replacement and sports injury management at Shalby Hospital, Ahmedabad, and MAX Hospital, Chandigarh. He has served as an Associate Consultant at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, and later as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manipal Hospital, Whitefield, where he has performed over 1500 surgeries, including 350 joint replacements.
