Dr Madhavi Nair

 

Dr Madhavi Nair (MBBS, MS (General Surgery), DNB (Surgical Oncology)) is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Manipal Hospital, Varthur Road. She completed her MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI). She earned a DNB in Surgical Oncology, for which she received the President’s Gold Medal nationally. She also holds an MBA in Hospital Management from BITS Pilani. Her areas of clinical work include head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, and breast cancers. She is trained in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Dr. Madhavi is involved in multidisciplinary cancer care, working closely with other specialists to plan treatment that combines surgery, chemotherapy, and supportive care. Her areas of interest also include post-operative recovery and newer approaches in cancer surgery.
