Dr Sandip Pal (MBBS, MD (General Medicine), DM (Gastroenterology)) is a Consultant Interventional Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist Narayana Health Hospitals, Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata. His areas of expertise include medical and interventional gastroenterology, liver diseases, pancreatitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He is skilled in advanced endoscopic procedures, including POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy), endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), and other interventional endoscopic techniques. He is a Lifetime Member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India, West Bengal Chapter of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, American College of Gastroenterology and Member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His achievements extend beyond clinical expertise, with awards such as the Young Investigator Award in I S G CON 2011 and recognition in the, Torrent Young Scholar Award.
