Chennai : Iswarya Hospital, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider in Chennai, organized EDUWELLNESS, a unique wellness initiative dedicated to the well-being of government and private school teachers.
The program was designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional health among educators who play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation.
Over 200 teachers from schools across Chennai participated in the event. Ms. Niroopa Paulson, Head – Safety & Wellbeing, TCS Chennai & Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering.
The EDUWELLNESS program featured interactive health talks, preventive screenings, stress management workshops, yoga sessions, and basic first aid training conducted by doctors and wellness experts.
Recognizing the demanding schedules and challenges faced by teachers, the initiative aimed to encourage healthier lifestyles, effective stress management, and self-care practices. “Teachers are the backbone of our society, and their well-being directly shapes the future generation.
Through EDUWELLNESS, we want to express our gratitude and offer a holistic platform that focuses on their overall health,” said Dr Raja Sundaram, CEO of Iswarya Hospital.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from educators across the city, along with a Complimentary Health Check-up organized for all attending teachers at the hospital.
Following the success of this edition, Iswarya Hospital announced plans to make EDUWELLNESS an annual program, expanding its reach to benefit more teachers in the years to come.
