Greater Noida: In a development for regional healthcare, Prakash Hospital has successfully performed the first-ever robotic-assisted Total Hip Replacement, THR, surgery in Greater Noida using the advanced MAKO Stryker robotic system. The surgery was led by Dr. D. P. Sharma and Dr. Vivek Prakash, with critical support from OT technicians Mr. Pramod and Mr. Krishnapal, while anesthesia was administered by Dr. Archana. The procedure was executed with meticulous planning and coordination, underscoring the hospital’s capability to deliver technology-driven surgical excellence.
The MAKO robotic system enables surgeons to develop a patient-specific surgical plan based on detailed pre-operative imaging.
