Dr Uthra S (MBBS, F.Diab, CCGDM) is a Senior Consultant Diabetologist at Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, Chennai, with over 18 years of experience in managing diabetes, with a special focus on pregnancy-related diabetes. She holds an MBBS from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, a Fellowship in Diabetology, and a Certificate in Gestational Diabetes from Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre. She has also trained in Nutrition and Lifestyle in Pregnancy (LMU Munich) and completed a Master’s in Lipid Management (University of Birmingham, UK). She is a GCP-certified clinical trial investigator, a reviewer for leading journals, and has delivered over 75 lectures on diabetes care. Dr Uthra is part of the Global PURE Study adjudication panel and is a certified insulin pump instructor (Medtronic). Her contributions have earned her the Excellence in Diabetology Award by Rotary Chennai, and she has multiple publications and book chapters to her credit.
