Oral hygiene is often seen as just brushing and fresh breath—but medical research now shows that oral health plays a critical role in overall well-being. In this episode of Health Dialogues, Lt Gen Dr. Vimal Arora (Retd.), Chief Clinical Officer at Clove Dental, explains how the mouth is closely linked to systemic health and why ignoring oral care can increase the risk of serious conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, pregnancy complications, and hormonal disorders like PCOS.

He completed his BDS and MDS from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, and holds a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, UK.
