Please read the Advertising Policy below carefully. By using or registering on Health Dialogues, you accept and agree to the terms of this Advertising Policy. All advertisements on the website are subject to our advertising policy.

To keep our business going including daily operations that are incidental to running the website as well as our staffing expenses, Minerva Medical Treatment Pvt Ltd, which owns and operations Health Dialogues and all its related domains, including parent domain medicaldialogues.in (“Medical dialogues” or “we”) regularly accepts advertising from third parties (“Advertising”), which may include third party banners, badges, contextual advertising and content (“sponsored content) created or provided by an Advertiser (collectively referred to as "Advertisements" or "Advertising").

In addition, as used in this policy, the terms "Advertising" and "Advertisements" include third-party banners, links, microsites (either created by us or the advertiser following our guidelines), native advertisements and other content provided by or on behalf of Advertisers.

The Advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and objectivity of their Advertising. These advertisements are clearly distinguished by the term “advertisement” or “adv” used in cases of banners, modules and microsites. The sponsored content can also be clearly differentiated from our editorial content by the use of the words " " Advertorial" or "From the Industry" or "partner content", "sponsored" or a similar designation indicating that the Advertising is being provided by or on behalf of an Advertiser. This would be done in the source section of such articles. Our advertising policy applies to the entire contents of the platform “Health Dialogues” [“Health Dialogues” which may also be referred to hereon in as "we" or "us" or "our" (as applicable)] including, without limitation, <www.health.medicaldialogues.in>  or any application or software used to access the platform. Health Dialogues contains advertisements, promotions and sponsored areas that are sold by us. These advertising spaces are offered by Health Dialogues for commercial interest and shall be distinguished from independently developed editorial content. Advertisements that appear on Health Dialogues may direct Users to third-party websites that are not controlled by Health Dialogues. Please note that all advertisements shall be strictly subject to the Advertising Guidelines and the inexhaustive list of Prohibited Advertisements in this Policy. Further, any Applicable Laws (in accordance with Terms of Use and Privacy Policy including but not limited to Advertising and Standards Council of India Code) force in the territory of India, shall be taken into consideration when an advertisement request is considered. Display of an advertisement does not imply an endorsement of the advertised products or services, nor does it imply that we performed due diligence on such products or services. Any periodic updates to this Advertising Policy will be posted here. 

Health Dialogues maintains a strong distinction between our Editorial Content and Advertisements. Our website hosts advertising banners/creatives/microsites. These advertisements can either be Google Ads or relevant Banner Advertisements from our industry partners including pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies, healthcare organisations, advertising agencies, publishers and other advertisers wanting to reach out to our readers of Health Dialogues. Such Advertisement banners are clearly distinguished by the word ‘Advertisement’ or "Adv." on top of these banners/creatives/microsites. It is imperative for a relationship with Health Dialogues, that all advertisers have to follow our advertising guidelines mentioned below. All sponsored articles/content shall maintain are clearly marked by the word "Advertorial" or "Sponsored", or "From The Industry", or a similar designation indicating that the Advertising content is being provided by or on behalf of an Advertiser. This would be done in the source section of such articles.


Advertising Guidelines

It is important for a meaningful relationship that our advertisers follow the advertisement guidelines

    1. Advertisers shall ensure truthfulness and honesty of representations and claims made by advertisements to safeguard against misleading advertisements

    2. Advertisers shall ensure that advertisements are not offensive and do not contain anything indecent, vulgar or repulsive that is likely, in the light of generally prevailing standards of decency and propriety, to cause grave or widespread offence;

    3. Advertisers shall ensure that advertisements be competitive and are not denigrating to other products.

    4. Advertisers shall safeguard against the promotion of products that are regarded as hazardous or harmful to society or individuals, particularly minors, to a degree or of a type that is unacceptable to society at large;

    5. Advertisers shall ensure that advertisements observe fairness in competition so that the consumers’ need to be informed on choices in the marketplace and the standards of generally accepted competitive behaviour in business are both served;

    6. Medical Practitioners are required to strictly follow all ethical codes and advertising codes as are applicable to medical practitioners and ensure that advertisements are only related to commencement of practice, changes in addresses, absences, disposal of practice and the like;

    7. Medical Institutions shall similarly be allowed only to advertise the name of the institution, type of patients admitted, type of training and other facilities offered and the fees.


Prohibited Advertisements 

The following advertisements shall be prohibited on Medical Dialogues in accordance with Applicable Law and advertising standards as may be in force in India.

    1. Advertisements whose subject is related/ancillary to cigarettes and other tobacco products including electronic cigarettes, vapes or any other similar product, either directly or indirectly;

    2. Advertisements related to magical remedies of diseases and/or disorders;

    3. Advertisements related to pre-natal determination of sex;

    4. Physician advertisements that intend to solicit patients or affix clinical practice endorsements;

    5. Advertisements that seek to promote any form of obscenity or vulgarity including any ancillary relation to pornography of any sort;

    6. Advertisements that directly or indirectly relate to any form of the occult or psychic services;

    7. Advertisements that contain any indecent representation of women in any form;

    8. Advertisements pertaining to sexual services of any form;

    9. Advertisements that may be construed to be deceptive or misleading under any applicable law in India;

A click on an Advertisement may only link the end user to the Advertiser's site or to relevant sponsored content area on a Health Dialogues Property.

Health Dialogues reserves the right to decide at any time in its sole discretion whether it will accept, reject, cancel, or remove Advertising from the Health Dialogues Network.

Health Dialogues cannot provide any assurances that Advertisements will perform without error on all platforms, including websites and mobile applications. It is the Advertiser's responsibility to comply with all domestic and foreign laws and regulations applicable to its Advertising within the Health Dialogues Network (and to include all legally required legends, disclosures, and statements in such Advertising), including without limitation the current Government of India guidelines if any on the matter for Direct to Physician (DTP) and Direct to Consumer (DTC) advertising.

Health Dialogues will not monitor compliance with such laws and regulations. However, Health Dialogues reserves the right to review all Advertising for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and, if Health Dialogues becomes aware of any breach or potential breach of any applicable law or regulation or of these guidelines, Health Dialogues may remove the Advertising from the Health Dialogues Network.


No Advertising on the Health Dialogues Network shall include any pixels, tags, flash containers or any other type of information collection software code (any such pixel, tag, code, or device a "Pixel") or shall place any beacons, cookies or other information collection devices on the browsers of users of the Health Dialogues Network unless expressly approved in writing by Health Dialogues.

If Health Dialogues approves the inclusion of a Pixel in an Advertisement, then unless and only to the extent that such approval contains an express exception, (i) Advertiser may not use such Pixel to collect any personally-identifiable information (PII) with respect to any Health Dialogues user, (ii) no such Pixel can be flash or object-based, (iii) the Pixel can be blocked and any cookie placed can be deleted by user browser settings, (iv) Advertiser will not link any non-PII that it collects to any PII that it may have from any other source and (v) Advertiser will not update any existing profile or create any profile in its database based on any data collected on the Health Dialogues site, including the fact that someone is a Health Dialogues user or any information derived from the information in the referring URL.

Health Dialogues retains the exclusive right to determine how any and all search results for specific information by keyword or topic are displayed on a Health Dialogues Property based on Health Dialogues delivered search results.

Content listed in search results is displayed with its source, e.g., "Health Dialogues News" or "Journal Article".

If Advertising appears in the search results, it is labeled as such. In addition, Health Dialogues provides a separate area on the search results page of certain Health Dialogues Consumer Properties which only display Advertising.

As described in the "Ads by Google" hyperlink in the Ads by Google section on applicable Health Dialogues Consumer Properties Search pages, these "Ads by Google" are Advertisements that have been purchased by companies that want to have links to their websites appear adjacent to search results in response to specific terms
