Dr Basavaraj CM (MBBS, D Ortho, DNB (Ortho), MRCS (Glasgow), FRCS (Trauma and Ortho), Fellowship in Arthroplasty (UK)) is the HOD and Senior Consultant Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Gleneagles BGS Hospital, Kengeri, Bengaluru. He has over 25 years of experience in hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, including complex primary and revision procedures. He was awarded a British Council sponsorship for advanced orthopaedic training in the UK and completed two fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty, focusing on computer-aided joint replacement and revision surgeries. Dr Basavaraj has presented at national and international orthopaedic conferences, served as a faculty member at medical forums, and authored scientific articles on lower limb arthroplasty and limb reconstruction. Furthermore, he also regularly participates in continuing medical education (CME) sessions to stay updated on advancements in orthopaedics.
