Dr Bipin Vibhute is the Director and Head of the Liver and Multi-organ Transplant Department at Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune. With experience in over 450 transplant surgeries, he has been involved in various types of liver and abdominal organ transplants, including liver, kidney, combined liver-kidney, small bowel, simultaneous kidney-pancreas, and modified multi-visceral procedures. He was part of several firsts in Pune, including the region’s first 50 liver transplants, a swab liver transplant, and an ABO-incompatible liver transplant. His clinical work also includes performing complex hepatobiliary surgeries. Dr Vibhute is a member of medical organizations such as the Maharashtra Medical Council, the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation, the Association of Surgeons of India, and the Indian Association of Gastro-endosurgery.
