Dr D K Jhamb (MBBS, MD (Medicine), DM (Cardiology)) is the Director & Head of Department of Interventional Cardiology at SHALBY Sanar International Hospitals, Gurugram. He holds more than 30 years of experience in performing complex cardiac procedures. He has accomplished more than 50,000 Coronary Angiograms and performed around 25000 Angioplasties (PTCA). Dr D K Jhamb did his MBBS, from MAMC, Delhi University and later pursued MD in Medicine from RML Hospital, Delhi. Further specialising in Cardiology, he pursued DM in Cardiology from AIIMS, Delhi. He also holds a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from San Raffle Hospital, Milan, Italy. His treatment specialisations include Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty (PTCA) with Stent, Peripheral Angiography and Angioplasty, Carotid Angioplasty, Pacemaker Implantation, ASD / VSD Device Closure, Micra Implantation (Small leadless pacemaker in ventricle cavity) procedure, Mitral / Heart Valve Replacement, Acute Aortic Dissection, TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), an advanced minimally invasive technique, Electrophysiology (EPS) & Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA).
