Dr J J Mathew
Dr J J Mathew is a Senior Consultant Pulmonologist at Apollo Adlux Hospital, Angamaly, with more than 20 years of experience overall. His area of expertise include managing Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial lung disease, Respiratory infections, Pneumothorax, Pleural effusion, Sleep apnoea, Respiratory muscle weakness, Domiciliary ventilation, Oxygen therapy, Pulmonary thromboembolic disease, Respiratory diseases in pregnancy, Thoracic malignancies. He did his basic medical training at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, followed by postgraduate training in Respiratory Medicine at the Institute of Chest Diseases, Kozhikode. He completed attachments in critical care at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, UK, and lung transplantation at Harefield Hospital in London, during his higher specialist training. Dr Mathew has extensive experience in bronchoscopy and is also trained in EBUS and interventional pleural procedures. He has published a number of articles in both national and international journals, demonstrating his exceptional dedication to research and learning.
