Dr K Azmi Saundarya (MBBS, DMRT, DNB (Radiation Oncology), Fellowship in Palliative Medicine, ECFMG) is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Iswarya Hospital, Chennai, with over 8 years of experience in the field of Radiation Oncology. After completing her MBBS, she specialized in Radiation Oncology, earning a Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy (DMRT) from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and a Diplomate in National Board (DNB – Radiation Oncology) from Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai. She also completed a year-long training in pain and palliative medicine through the Global Fellowship Program in Palliative Medicine by Pallium India (2024 batch). Her clinical expertise encompasses women’s cancers, including breast and gynecological malignancies, head and neck cancers, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and CNS malignancies, as well as soft tissue sarcomas. Proficient in advanced radiotherapy techniques, she is experienced in 3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, arc therapy, Cyberknife and Linac-based SRS, extra-cranial SBRT, brachytherapy, total body irradiation (TBI), and total skin electron therapy (TSET).
