Dr Kiran Lingutla (MBBS, D Ortho, MRCS, FRCS, MCh Ortho, BOA Senior Spine Fellowship) is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. He has over 22 years of experience in spine surgery. His areas of practice include minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal trauma, spinal deformity correction, and revision spine procedures. Dr Lingutla is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a member of the Association of Spine Surgeons of India (ASSI), AO Spine International, and the North American Spine Society (NASS). He manages a range of spinal conditions, including degenerative disorders, fractures, infections, tumours, and failed back surgeries. He also performs procedures such as cervical disc replacement, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, and epidural injections. His research work has been published in journals like the European Spine Journal and The Spine Journal, and he has presented at meetings such as BASS, ISASS, and Spine Week. His research topics have included spinal fusion in obese patients, sacral epidural injections, spinal implants, and cervical disc replacement.
