Dr Mangesh P Kamath (MBBS, DNB (Int Med), DM (Med. Onco), MRCP (UK - SCE - Onco), ECMO (Euro), PGDCR (Clinical Research)) is the Additional Director of Medical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road, Bangalore. Dr. Mangesh has over 12 years of experience in the field of Oncology and Hematology with core interests in Cancer Research, Cancer prevention, Cancer genetics and molecular oncology, Immunotherapy, Targeted therapy, Geriatric Oncology and Stem cell transplantation and CAR-T therapies. He has conducted more than 50 Autologous Bone Marrow Transplants and 120 Allogeneic Stem cell Transplants. He has performed autologous Bone Marrow transplantation for rare clinical indications like Relapsed Lymphoma in Jehovah’s Witness patients and also autologous stem cell transplantation for treatment-refractory relapsing Multiple Sclerosis Patients. Dr. Mangesh has several internationally peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and has won awards in National Conferences for his clinical studies involving molecular oncology and pharmaco-economics. He is a frequent and active faculty in state and national Oncology-Hematology conference. He regularly organizes Medical Oncology, Hemato-oncology multidisciplinary tumor board meetings attended by oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, and Post-graduate students. He has been a teacher/guide for DNB Medical Oncology Students. He is a keen clinical researcher having been an investigator in Phase 1 (Pharmaco-bioequivalence) and Phase 3 Clinical Trials. He is a member of distinguished international and national oncology associations like the ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology), ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology) and the ISMPO (Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology).
