Dr P Vamsi Krishna is a Senior Consultant & Head of Department of Urology at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. He has over 13 years of experience in the field of Urology and Renal transplantation. Dr P Vamsi Krishna completes his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad and further pursued MS in General Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh, followed by a MCh in Urology from BYL Nair Hospital. His areas of expertise include bladder reconstruction, endoscopic stone surgeries (PCNL, URS, RIRS, ECIRS), extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, and minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia such as UroLift, REZUM, and iTIND. He is experienced in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, including nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, radical prostatectomy, and cystectomy, as well as thulium laser prostatectomy (THUVEP). He also performs pediatric urology procedures, uro-gynaecological surgeries, male infertility treatments, urinary incontinence therapies, and penile reconstructive surgery. Furthermore, he received the Telangana State "Inspiring Urologist of India 2019" award by the Economic Times on Doctor’s Day.
