Dr R M Anjana (MBBS, MD, Dip. Diab (UK), PhD, FICP, FACP, FRCP (Glasgow, Edinburgh, London), FACE) is the Managing Director of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, Chennai, and Vice President of the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in the management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and complex diabetes cases. Her expertise includes diabetic complications such as neuropathy, nephropathy, retinopathy, and foot issues, along with insulin therapy, AGP, biothesiometry, Doppler studies, and genetic testing. Dr Anjana is a Fellow of several leading medical bodies and an active member of API, IMA, RSSDI, ISPAE, and AACE. In 2020, she was selected for the WHF Salim Yusuf Emerging Leaders Programme for her contributions to diabetes care and research.
