Dr Supriya Samak Sriganesh (MBBS, MS (Ophthalmology), FPRS) is an Ophthalmologist and the Executive Director of Nethradhama Hospitals Pvt. Ltd, having over 6 years of experience in the field. She holds an MBBS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and an M.S. in Ophthalmology from Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Mangalore, Karnataka. She has received Fellowship in Phaco & Refractive Surgery, a program accredited by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Dr Supriya is member of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the Karnataka Ophthalmic Society (KOS). Additionally, she is an active member of the Uveitis Society of India. She has performed the first live surgery in India on the Quatera 700 Phaco system. Dr Supriya is also involved in three machines and three surgeon studies for the new Quatera 700 Phaco system and is actively contributing to global trials for Zeiss VISUMAX 800, the latest generation of ZEISS femtosecond lasers. Dr Supriya has contributed to the academic and research landscape of Ophthalmology. Her master's thesis, titled "A Comparative Study of Intraocular Lens Positioning, Posterior Segment Changes, and Visual Outcomes in Intraocular Lenses Implanted in the Absence of Adequate Capsular Support," posits her engagement with critical issues in the field of ophthalmic care.
