Dr Prashanth Bagali

 

Dr Prashanth Bagali, Head of Scientific Affairs at MedGenome, is a seasoned clinical genomics expert with over two decades of extensive experience in the field of precision medicine, medical genetics, molecular diagnostics, and healthcare innovation. He earned his PhD in Genetics under the prestigious Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship, USA, and pursued post-doctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, USA. Dr. Bagali is a recognized leader in clinical genomics with deep expertise spanning bioinformatics, medical devices, and translational research. He has significantly contributed to the establishment and functioning of Molecular Tumour Boards across private hospitals and oncology centres of excellence in India and abroad. A recipient of several international research fellowships and awards from the Rockefeller Foundation, Frost & Sullivan, the Federal Government of Malaysia, and private academic institutions, Dr Bagali has authored 35 peer-reviewed publications and successfully led over 25 collaborative research projects globally, reflecting his commitment to advancing healthcare through knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships.
