Dr Abhishek Bansal (MBBS, DNB in Radio-diagnosis, Fellowship and International Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology) is a Senior Consultant and Chief Interventional Radiologist at Aakash Healthcare, New Delhi, with over 14 years of experience. He completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, followed by DNB from INMAS-DRDO. He has undergone fellowships in vascular and interventional radiology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea, along with observerships in the U.S. at Georgetown University Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic, and a research elective at Johns Hopkins University. His clinical work includes procedures such as biopsies, fluid drainage, angiographies, stent placements, and embolization. He also focuses on interventional oncology, involving image-guided treatment of tumours and cancer-related conditions. He has received recognition from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for his research work.
