Dr Meena Muthiah MBBS, DNB (OBG) is a Consultant (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road and Sarjapur Road. She has more than 30 years of total expertise and 23 years as a specialist in performing routine and complex hysterectomies. Her expertise spans a wide range of gynecological and obstetric procedures, with a particular focus on complex and routine hysterectomies, vaginal surgeries, urogynecology, colposcopy, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. In addition to her surgical skills, Dr. Muthiah is adept at managing medical, genetic, and hematological conditions during pregnancy. She provides comprehensive care to expectant mothers, offering support through every stage of pregnancy and post-delivery. Her clinical focus also extends to diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the vagina, ovaries, uterus, and breasts. Dr Muthiah holds an MBBS degree from Madurai Medical College (1993) and a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore (2000). A Gold Medalist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she has been recognized for her expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies. She has also contributed to the academic growth of future medical professionals, serving as a dissertation guide for trainees in the DNBE program.
