Dr Sheetal Chaurasia (MBBS, MD, DNB, DTCD, MRCP, FRCP) is a Consultant - Pulmonary Medicine at Manipal Hospital, Whitefield. She has over 14 years of experience with diverse training in reputed Indian and International centres in Pulmonology. Dr. Sheetal Chaurasia's impressive portfolio includes being a Gold medalist in MBBS, and a university topper in post-graduation. She holds an MRCP (UK) degree and interventional pulmonology fellowship from Malaysia and Germany in addition to her MD, DNB, and DTCD in pulmonary medicine. Dr. Sheetal Chaurasia has been awarded a European diploma in adult respiratory medicine in London in 2016 and has been a recipient of multiple scholarships from the European Respiratory Society. She also enhanced her skills with specialized training in EBUS from Germany and Amsterdam and training in pulmonary vascular disorders in Lausanne, Switzerland. Dr. Chaurasia has earned international recognition, winning awards like Best Abstract in COPD at the ERS congress in Munich( 2014) and being invited as a chairperson to the Indo-US conference. Her contribution extends to being a reviewer for many reputed journals like the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and an EBAP reviewer for accrediting pulmonology academic events in ERS. Her work during COVID has been exemplary and she has received felicitation from the government of Karnataka for supporting the rural hospitals and PHC in the state of Karnataka through e-rounds during the COVID pandemic.
